Green Lens Migraine Eyewear

42 products

Worn to relieve photophobia discomfort as needed. Migraine, allergies and colds can cause extreme light sensitivity.  These glasses can calm this and can help a person return to functioning in a normally lit room. Migraine that is photophobic is greatly reduced by low amounts of pure green light entering the eye. This is light that is devoid of red, blue and amber light. These lenses only pass roughly 2% of light overall, and the vast majority of that 2% light that passes through the lens is green. It is possible to use and read a computer screen while wearing these glasses, but to do so will require time for the eyes to adapt to this dimmer light. You may find that you will need to shine additional light on the keyboard.  Wearing these glasses outside while being stuck with direct sunlight can make everything look hazy, unless a hat with a brim is worn to keep the direct sunlight from striking the lens..
